NICU SURVIVAL KITS

My son Beckett was born at 32 weeks (8 weeks premature). We spent 6 long weeks riding the NICU roller coaster. The ups and downs were hard for us. Surviving the NICU can be tough sometimes and very lonely. Most of us go into the NICU not knowing what to expect. No one can really truly prepare for something like this. Some families are there for days, some families weeks and some families months! No matter how long you are there it is still hard. I am here to reach out to those families and make sure they know they are not forgotten. This is a nonprofit service project. This will only be a successful project if we can come together with enough donations.

My friend Dionne started this project in January 2015 in Idaho and it has been a great success. Dionne has been able to place 283 NICU survival kits❤️ After reaching out to her I have decided to take this task on to help and support the people who saved my sons life at Banner medical University Center and make their patients feel as loved as I felt when I was staying there with my son.

This is a great way to serve in our community! The best part is there are so many ways that you can help. Giving to others is the best thing you can do in this life. I love this quote by Thomas S Monson “Throughout [the Savior’s] ministry He reached out in charity to any in need. As we emulate His example, we will bless lives, including our own." We can become like Christ and lift other spirits by serving them.
As a mom Who received one of these survival kits I was very touched. I felt very special and it was just what I needed to help me get through the first little bit. So I'm ready to help and return the service that was given to me. Hopefully with the help of others we will be able to help many families feel an extra bit of love and support at a time that it is needed so much.

This is the part where I ask for your help. This is a non-profit service project, so we desperately need your help, we need to gather donations. The items that will be included in the care packages are listed below.
